This is my first time using the discussion forum on TOMC, and I always find it fun to be a beginner. Any storytellers out there who are interested in more than just one medium of storytelling? (books, comics, etc.)

This is my first time using the discussion forum on TOMC! And I’ve been here from the start. LOL. I fancy myself a storyteller. Finding myself on the literary page these days. As far as other mediums, I’m very much into oral storytelling. It’s where I come from. It’s where my words feel most at home. My written storytelling is rooted deeply in the oral traditions that came before me. I aim to be felt AND heard from the page. I saw your payhip page and – first off – kudos for free works! But also saw the coloring pages. What’s your preferred medium???

That’s beautiful, thank you for sharing! Oral storytelling feels raw, and I sense a deeply spiritual element to it. I often feel self-conscious about reading my work to others, and yet I enjoy it all the same!

Thank you for visiting my Payhip store! I’m still trying to storyteller identity, I suppose, and sharing my work as free e-copies at least felt right to me. I hope you’re enjoying Doppelganger! It’s my debut novella, and I’m incredibly proud and grateful to share it. It’s a mental health perspective on the beloved tale of Jekyll and Hyde.

Thank you! I primarily draw character art digitally and traditionally. I find myself telling stories through the written word and through visual art/comics (sometimes through music, though I’m a rookie with that!)
